As every year, we find ourselves before the works of the latest graduating classes of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Granada. A traditional exhibition that shows some of the most outstanding projects of each year, a way of glimpsing the contemporary production of the artists that is being cooked up in the workshops. This annual exhibition, which has been running for almost thirty years, was interrupted last 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic. So this year it returns with a peculiarity, jointly presenting a compilation of works by two consecutive promotions, something that has enriched the show because it allows us to distinguish the differences and similarities that we find between them.one of the most explored topics, both by one promotion and the other, has been the relationship of the individual with space, specifically the home, rediscovered after long periods of time confined to it. These recent experiences have had a strong echo in the artists' creative output. The reclusion in a specific space has allowed us to analyse ourselves as individuals and discover new facets of our identity; it has made us rethink space and its boundaries, which surround and condition us, to the point of defining us. In this project they transmit their identity to us through the power of creation of this space, of this experience.
